Meet Pastor Julius and Lady Trawick

These are quotes that have been used to express the character of Pastor Julius Trawick and his

approach to teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Julius Trawick was born on September 5, 1970, in Milledgeville, GA. He is the oldest son of

Nathaniel Trawick, Jr and Ella Trawick. At the early age of 12, he accepted Jesus Christ as his

Lord and Savior and joined Hunt’s Chapel AME church in Sparta, GA.

He is blessed to be married to the love of his life and best friend, Almeta Trawick. From this

Godly union they are blessed with (2) children (Jakira & Ashton). Following the guidance of the

Lord, he along with his family joined Vaughn Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Milledgeville,

GA. During this time, he used his gift of singing to help minister by serving in the Vaughn

Chapel Men’s and Senior choirs. He presented himself as a helpful servant in the church willing

to assist where needed. In January 2011, his servitude was recognized, and he was ordained a

Deacon… but God was just getting started!

On November 20, 2014, Deacon Trawick preached his initial sermon “God Has a Plan for You". In

May of 2016, Rev Trawick was ordained and installed as Pastor of William Grove Baptist Church

in Mitchell, GA.

After 5 ½ years of faithful service at William Grove, God moved dramatically in the life and

ministry of Pastor Trawick. In November of 2021, Pastor Trawick was called to Pastor ElBethel

Missionary Baptist Church in Milledgeville GA. Pastor Trawick has brought a more intentional

focus on biblical teaching, spirit-filled worship, youth & young adult development, and

community out-reach. Under his leadership ElBethel has experienced physical and spiritual

growth and has expanded it's reach and impact in the community through personal

relationships and various social media platforms.

Pastor Trawick is a gifted preacher and teacher who can make the Word of God plain and

understandable to all who hears it. It is Pastor Trawick’s mission to impact others through

biblical preaching and teaching…doing so with love, compassion, power, and clarity.
